Event Details

Our electronics meetup at Brisbane Makerspace (hosted by John Missikos) is a great opportunity to learn about new electronics concepts, get basic project assistance, and network / mingle with other electronics / Arduino enthusiasts.

This is a casual event, so it may not run exactly like this, but you can roughly expect the following:

  • Brief introduction
  • 10-15 minute lightning talk on a specific topic
  • Project showcase
  • Socialising & networking

Brisbane Makerspace also has 3D printing, laser cutting, electronics, arts & crafts, and so much more! Our members and community love making amazing projects, and sharing their wealth of knowledge and experience.

Please note that you won’t be able to use our tools unless you’re a member due to insurance and safety reasons. However, we’re happy to give you a demonstration of anything you’d like to see in action so you can see how it works and what it can do.

Everyone who attends an event hosted at Brisbane Makerspace is required to follow the Brisbane Makerspace code of conduct. If you breach this code of conduct you may be asked to leave: https://bms.wiki/policies/codeofconduct
